Job Summary
A highly organized and detail-oriented PPC Manager to join the team at Nigeria Plant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality electric vehicles and mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and production targets
Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and optimal utilization of resources
Plan and manage material requirements, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics
Identify and resolve production planning and scheduling conflicts
Monitor production progress and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime
Manage inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Conduct regular inventory audits and implement inventory control measures
Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, including ISO and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with quality team to identify and resolve quality issues
Implement quality control measures to ensure product quality and reliability
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth product launches and production ramp-up
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand customer demand and forecast production requirements
Communicate production plans, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including management and customers
Develop and maintain production reports, including production schedules, inventory levels, and production efficiency metrics
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Provide insights and recommendations to management to inform production decisions
Requirements
HND qualification / Bachelor’s Degree / M.Eng Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Desired Skills:
Experience with electric vehicle manufacturing or mobility solutions.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous. improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
