About the Role

• KloudOpp Limited is seeking an experienced Senior QA Manual & Automation Test Engineer to lead quality assurance and testing efforts for enterprise-grade applications across FinTech, HealthTech, Blockchain, and Logistics.
• This role requires hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to design test strategies for cloud-native microservices, modern monoliths, and highly secure systems. You will ensure that all deliverables meet high-quality standards, are secure, reliable, and fully compliant with industry regulations.
• The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, capable of mentoring junior QA engineers, and comfortable participating in live production deployments.
• A security background check, rigorous technical assessment, and a GitHub or portfolio of test automation projects are required.

Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test plans for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, log, track, and prioritize defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.

Automation Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
• Write reusable automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Ensure high coverage and reliability of automated tests.

Performance, Security & API Testing:

• Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, Locust, or Gatling.
• Ensure security testing, including penetration and vulnerability testing, as per OWASP and enterprise standards.

Mentoring & Collaboration:

• Mentor and train junior QA engineers in manual and automated testing practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality strategies, release planning, and risk assessment.
• Participate in live production testing, regression verification, and release validation.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of professional QA experience, including manual and automation testing.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).
• Hands-on experience with API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into production workflows.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, and QA best practices.
• Experience in FinTech, HealthTech, Blockchain, or Logistics is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proactive mindset.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and lead QA practices across teams.
• Must pass security background checks.
• Must pass a rigorous technical assessment.
