Core Responsibilities of a Sales Leader
Lead, Manage, and Train the Sales Team
Build a high-performance sales culture from the ground up
Create training materials and run weekly sales training/huddles
Set daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and hold the team accountable
Actively Sell and Drive Revenue
Take charge of lead conversion, client calls, and deal-closing
Personally hit sales targets while enabling others to do the same
Own the CRM and Pipeline
Build, optimize, and oversee CRM processes (e.g., HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce)
Track lead behavior, pipeline velocity, and conversion rates
Create and Execute Sales Strategy
Design data-driven campaigns tied to Pathfinder’s service offerings (CAP, CRB, business consulting, etc.)
Work closely with marketing to ensure sales readiness and alignment
Lead Generation & Follow-Up
-Set up and manage lead gen automations across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Oversee cold outreach (DMs, email, WhatsApp) and inbound qualification
Performance Management & Reporting
Monitor sales dashboards and forecast revenue
Fire under performers, promote closers, and reassign leads where needed
Relentless Accountability Culture
No room for excuses—daily standups, weekly reviews, performance heat maps.
What You’ll Do
Lead, manage, and train a growing team of closers and appointment setters
Own the sales pipeline—from lead gen to close, across all channels
Build and execute weekly training and accountability systems
Use CRM tools (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce) to track performance and optimize conversion
Set aggressive sales KPIs and hold the team to them, no excuses
Set up and run automated lead generation workflows via social (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
Jump on sales calls, close high-ticket services, and lead by example
Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and drive targeted campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven sales leadership experience (3–5+ years managing B2C or B2B sales teams)
Expertise in sales pipeline optimization, funnel metrics, and automation tools
Strong background in lead generation, social selling, and nurturing via DMs, SMS, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, etc.
Strong coaching and training ability for junior and mid-level sales reps
Experience with automated sales workflows, including Zapier, Manychat, and IG/LinkedIn DMs
Familiarity with tools like ClickFunnels, Calendly, Slack, Google Workspace
Must be hungry, competitive, fearless—quota-driven with no tolerance for complacency
Strong communicator and natural closer, confident on the phone and video
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, startup-like environment
Bonus: Background in edtech, immigration, coaching, or career services sales.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
