Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Fully Remote)

Description

• We are expanding rapidly and looking for a creative, organised, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to build, manage, and scale our digital presence across all major social media platforms, including: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X), WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, and more.

What You Will Do
General Social Media Duties:

• Manage daily content across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X), WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, and any future platforms
• Create engaging graphics, short-form videos, reels, YouTube Shorts, stories, and promotional materials
• Write captions, schedule posts, and maintain a consistent posting calendar
• Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions across all platforms
• Research and jump on viral trends, challenges, sounds, memes, and cultural moments
• Plan & execute weekly and monthly marketing campaigns
• Track performance analytics and provide improvement reports
• Maintain a consistent, professional, and culturally aware brand voice.

Platform-Specific Responsibilities
Instagram:

• Create reels, carousel posts, stories, highlights
• Showcase chefs, dishes, behind-the-scenes content, customer stories
• Use Instagram features: polls, question boxes, story interactions, link stickers
• Grow the page organically through hashtag strategy, trends, and engagement.

YouTube:

• Produce long-form videos & short-form YouTube Shorts
• Create “How the platform works” tutorials for customers, chefs, and drivers
• Shoot and edit promotional, educational, and storytelling content
• Optimise SEO (titles, descriptions, thumbnails) to grow the channel.

TikTok:

• Produce viral-style short videos using trending sounds
• Create fun, fast-paced content that showcases food, culture, chefs, and drivers
• Participate in challenges and trending formats
• Engage with TikTok comments and community content.

Facebook:

• Post updates, campaigns, and adverts
• Manage Facebook Business Suite tools
• Engage with local community groups and respond to inquiries
• Support paid advertising campaigns.

Twitter (X):

• Post short real-time updates, announcements, and quick promotional content
• Engage with trending conversations
• Support customer interactions through replies and mentions.

WhatsApp Business:

• Manage order inquiries and chef/driver onboarding communication
• Broadcast updates and promotions
• Maintain a professional and responsive support tone.

Role-Specific Duties:

• Promote the platform’s core services: customer ordering, chef sign-up, and driver recruitment
• Highlight our chefs, their cultural backgrounds, and their authentic dishes
• Create educational “How It Works” content for all user types
• Support referral campaigns and seasonal promotions
• Help build the brand presence in the UK, US, and African markets
• Collaborate closely with management to execute strategic marketing plans
• Report customer feedback or technical issues to the platform team.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 - 3 years managing social media for brands or businesses
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and content creation skills
• Proficient in Canva, CapCut, VN Editor, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of what performs well on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X)
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Facebook & Instagram Ads Manager
• Photography and videography skills
• Experience working with influencers or UGC creators
• Background in the food industry, delivery platforms, or tech start-ups.
