Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, and visionaryChief Technology Officer (CTO) with a profound background inSoftware Engineering.
The CTO will be responsible for defining the core technical architecture, building the initial product, and establishing the engineering culture from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the technology strategy, lead the development efforts, and scale the team as we grow.
Architect and Develop: Design, develop, and deploy the foundational technology stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Code Contribution: Actively write, review, and contribute high-quality, production-ready code alongside the initial engineering team (or independently, if the first technical hire).
Standards & Best Practices Establish coding standards, review processes, and system documentation.
Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools.
Strategy, Vision, and Business Intelligence:
Technical Roadmap: Define and drive the company’s long-term technology vision and technical roadmap, aligning it with the overall business strategy and product goals.
Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage Business Intelligenceand analytics to inform technical priorities, measure product performance, and identify areas for optimization and innovation.
IP Protection Oversee the protection of intellectual property and proprietary technology.
DevOps and Infrastructure:
Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and manage the cloud infrastructure (DevOps) for deployment, scaling, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
CI/CD: Implement and maintain robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
Security: Ensure the implementation of best practices for system security and data privacy.
Team Management and Culture:
Recruitment & Mentorship: Lead the effort to recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier engineering talent as the company scales.
Team Management: Provide clear technicalleadershipand mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and high performance.
Process Improvement: Establish efficient engineering processes (e.g., Agile/Scrum) that promote productivity and quality.
Required Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree
Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2+years in a technical leadership role.
Deep Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to architect, build, and deploy complex software systems. Must be comfortable writing codes in the early stages.
Architecture: Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern architectural patterns.
DevOps Expertise: Significant experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools.
Mobile Experience: Direct experience or strong oversight knowledge inMobile Developmentbest practices and ecosystem.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (investors, board, customers).
