The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is responsible for the monitoring and regulation of Hajj and Umrah activities in Nigeria. As part of its commitment to its mission “to diligently implement the NAHCON Act”, NAHCON is dedicated to ensuring that experienced and capable personnel, fill leadership roles as they become vacant.

We invite applications from suitable candidates to join the 2026 Hajj National Medical Team (NMT) in the capacity below:

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications
• Must be 27–60 years of age

Eligibility
Applicants seeking NMT membership must:

• Be in active service at the time of application.
• Not have participated in the last three Hajj Operations (2023, 2024, and 2025).
• Be willing to work for 28 days and remain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days before returning to Nigeria.
• Successful applicants will not be disengaged for any reason before completing their assigned 28 days of duty.
• All successful applicants must demonstrate good conduct and adhere to their professional code of ethics as well as any additional rules and regulations issued by NAHCON for NMT operations.
• Each application must include a guarantor’s attestation.
• The guarantor must be a credible individual who is either a Career Civil Servant (not below GL 15), a Traditional ruler, a Magistrate, or a Local Government Chairman.
• The guarantor must have known the applicant for at least five years and be able to vouch for their integrity, competence, and capability.
• He / She must be willing to submit a copy his / her identity cards or any mode of identification accepted in the Nigerian Public offices.
