Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Assistant Team Lead – Power Plant Mechanical Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of gas-fired power plants.
• The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 generator sets and the ability to support team leadership and plant reliability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the operation and maintenance of MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 gas engines.
• Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective mechanical maintenance activities.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical faults on engines, auxiliaries, and balance of plant.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and maintenance procedures.
• Assist in coordinating technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in power plant mechanical operations and maintenance.
• Proven hands-on experience with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 engines.
• Strong knowledge of gas engine mechanical systems, auxiliaries, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
