Job Title: ISP Technician

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Responsibilities

• Install aerial drop cables* from distribution points to customer buildings.
• Set up ONTs/routers inside the customer premises and verify internet activation.
• Perform basic signal tests (power meter, light source) and report results.
• Ensure neat cabling, proper tagging, and clean installation practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic connection or configuration issues on-site
• Follow daily schedules assigned by the ISP Supervisor and report job completion.
• Provide basic usage instructions to customers after installation.
• Maintain tools and keep accurate installation records.

Requirements

• Technical certificate or Diploma in Telecom, IT, or related field (an advantage).
• 1 – 2 years experience in FTTH/ISP installations (especially aerial).
• Familiar with drop cable routing, ONT setup, and basic testing
• Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Basic knowledge of tools: ladders, drill, tester, hand tools.
• Good attitude, punctual, and respectful to customers and team.
• Willingness to work across different locations in Ibadan.
