We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Event Center Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Event Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the event center, managing bookings, coordinating events, and ensuring exceptional client experiences.
  • This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all events held at the center from booking to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly and clients are satisfied.
  • Meet with potential clients to discuss their event needs, provide quotes, and close booking deals.
  • Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, decorators, sound engineers, and other service providers to deliver quality events.
  • Manage and supervise event staff including ushers, security, cleaners, and technical personnel during events.
  • Handle client complaints and resolve issues quickly to maintain the center's good reputation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on bookings, revenue, expenses, and center performance for management review.
  • Market the event center through social media, referrals, and networking to attract more clients and increase bookings.
  • Ensure the center is well-maintained, clean, and all equipment is in good working condition before and after each event.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or related field
  • Professional certification in Event Planning is an advantage
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in event management or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of managing successful events
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Customer service oriented with problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of event management software
