Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Junior Accountant to support our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, MIS (Management Information Systems), and advanced Excel skills.
• This role will contribute to accurate financial record-keeping, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts, manage ledger entries, and process invoices/payments.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting trends and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies in all accounting activities.
• Utilize Excel to create, maintain, and enhance financial models, reports, and dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience (1–3 years) in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, data analysis).
• Experience with MIS preparation and financial analysis.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting principles, MIS, excel and accountingsoftware (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar).
• Basic understanding of taxation and regulatory compliance.
