Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

This role requires a visionary with deep understanding of Nigeria’s sports betting ecosystem—mobile-first consumer behaviour, micro-betting psychology, instant gratification mechanics, agent/affiliate ecosystems, regulatory sensitivity across states, and the fierce competitive landscape.
The CEO must translate ambitious product offerings into scalable adoption, operational excellence, and aggressive market capture within 12–24 months.
JobResponsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Execution:
Develop, refine, and execute the company’s long-term and short-term strategic plans in alignment with Board goals.
Lead the aggressive Go-To-Market strategy for nationwide expansion.
Build the company into a mobile-first, culturally resonant gaming brand designed for Nigeria’s 18–40 betting demographic.
Provide hands-on leadership for product rollout.
Market and Business Growth:
Drive rapid customer acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion, targeting:
100,000+ MAU by Month 3
250,000–500,000 MAU by Month 12
Oversee regional growth, social-influencer penetration, and agent/affiliate enablement.
Ensure competitive differentiation in speed, odds competitiveness, UX, loyalty, and payout reliability.
Operational Excellence:
Build and manage high-performance teams across product, engineering, finance, customer support, marketing, and operations.
Ensure platform uptime, reliability, and compliance with peak-hour performance requirements.
Build strong systems for KYC, risk management, fraud mitigation, and customer dispute resolution.
Establish operational SOPs for customer support, payouts, bet settlement, and escalations.
Financial and Performance Management:
Oversee financial health, budgeting, cost control, and casino/bookmaking margin integrity.
Monitor daily turnover, Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), Net Gaming Revenue (NGR), CPA, ARPU, LTV, and cohort metrics.
Optimize bonus/promo economics to remain competitive without destroying margins.
Regulatory, Compliance and Governance:
Ensure full compliance across State Lottery Boards and evolving regulatory frameworks.
Foster a culture of integrity, responsible gaming, and legal transparency.
Maintain strong relationships with regulators, partners, payment providers, and vendors.
Brand Reputation and Culture Building:
Position the company as a trusted, fast-payout, customer-centric brand.
Lead internal culture rooted in innovation, speed, accountability, and data-driven execution.
Represent the company in media, industry forums, investor meetings, and strategic partnership engagements.

Required Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 10 – 15 years leadership experience, with at least 8 years in the gaming, betting, fintech, telecom, or digital products industry.
Experience launching and scaling consumer-facing mobile platforms in Nigeria.
Strong understanding of betting product economics—odds, GGR, margins, liability, settlement.
Deep insight into Nigerian youth culture, WhatsApp communities, tipster behaviour, and low-stake betting trends.
Demonstrated track record of leading large teams, managing budgets, and scaling operations.
