Job Title: Sales Representative

Locations: Douala, Bertoua, Yaoundé, Bafoussam, Ebolowa, Garoua, Ngaoundéré - Cameroon

Reports To: Sales Supervisor / Sales Manager

Job Purpose

• The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products/services within the assigned region.
• The role focuses on prospecting, customer relationship management, achieving sales targets, and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Prospecting:

• Identify potential clients and actively seek new business opportunities.
• Conduct field visits, product presentations, and demonstrations.
• Promote and sell company products/services to both existing and new customers.
• Follow up on leads and ensure timely closing of sales deals.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.

Market Analysis:

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the assigned region.
• Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer needs and opportunities.
• Identify challenges in the field and propose practical solutions.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Submit daily or weekly sales reports using company templates or CRM tools.
• Document all customer interactions and maintain updated sales records.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and performance reviews.

Compliance:

• Follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales procedures.
• Respect brand image and represent the company professionally in all interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in sales or customer service (1–3 years ideal).
• Good knowledge of the local market in the assigned city.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge is an advantage).
• Must be proactive, result-oriented, and comfortable with fieldwork.
