We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Alausa / Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)
Reports To: Managing Director

Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance function. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure strong financial controls, and support executive decision-making while maintaining full regulatory and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership:

• Act as the head of the Finance function
• Provide strategic financial advice to the MD and senior management
• Support business planning, budgeting, and long-term financial strategy
• Lead financial risk management and capital allocation decisions.

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure accurate financial statements in line with IFRS
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Monitor company performance and provide variance analysis.

Governance, Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (FIRS, SIRS, CBN where applicable)
• Oversee tax planning, filings, and remittances (CIT, VAT, PAYE, WHT, EDT)
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and regulators.

Treasury & Stakeholder Management:

• Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements
• Oversee working capital, liquidity, and treasury operations
• Support board reporting and management presentations.

People & Process Management:

• Lead and develop the finance team
• Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Professional qualification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA(mandatory)
• Minimum of 8–12 years progressive finance experience
• At least 3–5 years in a senior finance leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax, statutory reporting, and corporate governance
• Experience working directly with executive management or board level.
