Job Title: Cashier

Location: Ijora, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• The Cashier will be responsible for handling cash transactions, issuing receipts, reconciling daily sales, and supporting smooth financial operations.
• The ideal candidate must be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive payments from customers (cash, transfer, POS).
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Reconcile daily sales and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Maintain proper documentation for all cash/credit transactions.
• Ensure the cash register is always balanced.
• Report any discrepancies or irregularities immediately.
• Assist with basic administrative and accounting tasks when required.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND or equivalent qualification.
• 1 - 2 years proven experience as a cashier, accounts assistant, or related role.
• Preferably a male for gender balance
• Proximity to Ijora-7up is key
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
