The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State is one of the new Universities established in 2021 by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Federal University of Health Sciences is a specialized one with focus on Health, Nutrition and Medical Sciences and it is expected to lay a foundation for building National preparedness and resilience in anticipation of future challenges in the health sector while also reducing medical tourism abroad.

Requirements

• The candidate must possess a MBBS with MSc and PhD Degrees.
• In addition, the candidate must have published at least fifteen (15) articles in reputable local and international outlets acceptable to the Federal University of Health Sciences, lla-Orangun, of which at least 30% must be offshore, and the candidate should be a lead author in about 30% of the publications.
• The applicant should have demonstrated good teamwork and leadership skills in the university system.
• The applicant must have a good Citation Count, H-index, and i10- index in Google Scholar.
• The applicants must have spent at least three (3) years as Lecturer I in a recognised University.
• Candidates with verifiable records of having won research grants as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator will stand at an advantage.
