We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Canepro Administrator

Location: Niger

About the Role

  • To manage and optimize the Cane-Pro system, ensuring the precise and efficient administration of sugarcane cultivation and maintenance activities.
  • This role is essential for maximizing sugarcane yield and sucrose content by coordinating and overseeing all aspects of crop management, including planning, scheduling, and data management, in alignment with the company's production goals and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilitie
CanePro System Management:

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the CanePro system, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency in managing sugarcane cultivation activities.
  • Regularly update and maintain all relevant data within the CanePro system, including crop schedules, maintenance records, and yield reports.

Data Integrity and Analysis:

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all data entered into the CanePro system.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights that can be used to optimize crop yields, resource allocation, and overall plantation performance.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators related to sugarcane production.

Coordination with Departments:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including Agronomy, Finance, Irrigation, and Operations, to ensure that data and schedules within the CanePro system align with the overall production and financial goals.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all CanePro-related queries, providing support and training to other departments as needed.

System Improvements and Updates:

  • Work with IT and system vendors to implement updates, upgrades, and enhancements to the CanePro system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the company.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improving system functionality and user experience, making recommendations for upgrades or modifications as necessary.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure that all data and processes within the CanePro system comply with company policies, as well as relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and submit regular compliance reports, ensuring that all data management activities meet the necessary legal and organizational requirements.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and ongoing support to staff on how to use the CanePro system effectively, ensuring that all users are capable of inputting and extracting data correctly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the CanePro system, liaising with technical support as needed.

Backup and Recovery:

  • Implement and oversee data backup procedures to protect critical information within the CanePro system.
  • Ensure that there are robust data recovery plans in place to minimize disruption in the event of a system failure.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of all CanePro processes, including data entry protocols, reporting procedures, and system configurations.
  • Regularly review and update documentation to reflect any changes in system use or company requirements.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree/HND in Business Administrator or a minimum of years of in-depth post-qualification experience in Data Management

Experience

  • Must have 5 years without a degree, or years with a degree
