We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Concierge

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type:

Main Functions

  • The Concierge serves as a key point of contact for guests, providing personalized assistance, information, and support to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • The role focuses on anticipating guest needs, offering local recommendations, handling special requests, and coordinating services efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate must be courteous, knowledgeable, and service-oriented, with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities
Guest Assistance & Support:

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide professional assistance upon request.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and operating hours.
  • Assist guests with reservations, transportation arrangements, and special requests.
  • Provide accurate information about local attractions, restaurants, events, and directions.

Coordination & Service Delivery:

  • Coordinate guest requests with relevant departments to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Liaise with external service providers such as transport services and tour operators when required.
  • Follow up on guest requests to ensure satisfaction.

Guest Experience Management:

  • Handle guest complaints or concerns politely and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of guest preferences where applicable.
  • Support VIP guests and special events with personalized attention.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Maintain clear records of guest requests and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with front office, housekeeping, security, and other departments.
  • Report any guest-related issues or incidents to the supervisor.

Professional Conduct & Standards:

  • Uphold the organization’s service standards and brand image.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
  • Ensure guest confidentiality and data privacy.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE; additional training in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
  • 2 – 4 years experience in a concierge, guest relations, or customer-facing role.
  • Experience working in hotels or upscale hospitality environments is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of the local area and available services.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize guest requests.
  • Good organizational and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism.
