Job Title: Business Manager – Orthodontic Dental Enterprise (ODE)
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Reports to: CEO
Role Purpose
- As we enter a critical growth and consolidation phase, we are seeking a commercially astute, execution-driven Business Manager to take full ownership of the business and drive sustainable profitability.
- The Business Manager is to oversee the operations and strategic growth of the company, with end-to-end accountability for strategy execution, revenue growth, cost control, people leadership, and governance.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business management, sales, and marketing within the Healthcare Industry.
- This individual will be responsible for driving business expansion, fostering client relationships, and optimising operational efficiencies to ensure the company's continued success.
Key Responsibilties
Business & Commercial Leadership:
- Own ODE’s P&L, revenue growth, margins, and cost discipline
- Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets
- Identify new revenue streams and strategic partnerships
Sales & Market Expansion:
- Lead sales strategy, pipeline development, and forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve customer service, and enhance product offerings.
- Strengthen ODE’s market presence across the dental ecosystem in multiple locations.
Operations & Supply Chain Oversight:
- Oversee procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management
- Improve stock optimisation, turnaround times, and cost efficiency.
Financial Control & Governance:
- Enforce strong financial discipline and internal controls
- Work with Group Finance on reporting and cash-flow management.
People & Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and develop the ODE team
- Build a high-performance culture aligned with ODE’s values.
Strategic & Executive Interface:
- Serve as ODE’s primary interface with Group Executive Management
- Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Must have led a business or a division of a business.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in business management, sales, or marketing roles within the Healthcare industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success in team management and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of dental supply industry trends, products, and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
