Job Title: Project Manager, Music & Live Events (Concerts & Creative Programs)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid, strong on-ground presence required)

About the Role

• They are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with deep experience in music and concert coordination, not a general project manager.
• This role requires someone who already understands how music events work in Lagos, knows the ecosystem, has coordinated live shows or concerts, and can confidently manage artists, vendors, venues, sponsors, and partners without hand-holding.
• If you have not managed music events, concerts, or large-scale creative productions, this role is not a fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver music events, concerts, and live creative programmes from concept to execution
• Coordinate artists, artist managers, sound engineers, stage managers, venues, and production vendors
• Manage timelines, rehearsals, technical requirements, and show-day execution
• Work directly with partners and sponsors for music events, ensuring deliverables and expectations are met
• Handle on-ground logistics during events, including artist movement, production setup, and run-of-show
• Track tasks, budgets, and deliverables using spreadsheets, trackers, or checklists
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, creatives, partners, and vendors
• Anticipate and resolve issues quickly in fast-paced, high-pressure live environments

Requirements
Applicants must meet most of the following to be considered:

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering music events, concerts, or live performances
• Proven experience coordinating artists, music vendors, venues, and production teams
• Demonstrated experience working with partners or sponsors on music or concert projects
• Strong understanding of the Lagos music and live events ecosystem
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts under tight timelines
• Strong organisational, follow-through, and execution skills
• Comfortable managing projects using spreadsheets, trackers, or simple PM tools
• Ability to be physically present for rehearsals, site visits, and event days in Lagos

Strong Advantages:

• Existing network within the music, concert, or live events space
• Experience working with music foundations, festivals, or youth-focused creative organisations
• Experience managing sponsor deliverables for live music events

• This role is not suitable for general project managers without music or concert experience

Salary Range
N200,000 – N280,000 per month (Negotiable, based on depth of music event experience).
