Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate ICT Teacher to educate students on information and communication technology.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons on computer literacy, programming, digital safety, and emerging technologies.
• The teacher will create a dynamic learning environment, assess student progress, and integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance learning. Strong technical knowledge, classroom management skills, and a passion for teaching are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive ICT lessons based on the curriculum.
• Teach students fundamental computer skills, coding, software applications, and internet safety.
• Introduce students to basic concepts on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
• Provide hands-on training in using hardware, software, and digital tools.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
• Foster a collaborative and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and creativity.
• Integrate technology into teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Stay updated with the latest ICT trends and advancements.
• Ensure students understand ethical and responsible use of technology.
• Collaborate with school administrators, colleagues, and parents to support student learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years ICT teaching experience
• Proficiency in basic programming languages and office software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Software and Google Workspace(particularly Google Classroom)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills. A passion for teaching and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
