Responsibilities
Support strengthening of SI systems for data collection, collation, cleaning, analysis, and utilization for program monitoring.
Facilitate processes for systematic follow-up of relevant stakeholders on agreed-upon system corrections, adjustments, and actions, informing and strategizing with the QA and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide technical support for the implementation of the organization, USG, and GON quality improvement activities including implementation monitoring and outcome evaluation.
Provide technical support for implementing the organization's, USG's, and GON quality improvement initiatives, including collaboratives.
Provide technical leadership to the team in developing information-sharing platforms with multiple applications to improve coordination and knowledge sharing. This includes producing analytical summaries, graphs, charts, tables, narratives, and appealing visuals, as requested, to fulfill internal and external reporting requirements.
Support in implementation of project outcome reviews and special studies, including information product development and systematic program appraisals.
Provide technical oversight for the implementation and monitoring of quality improvement plans including use of outcomes of change ideas.
Manage and lead the development of appropriate quality improvement, new learnings, and technical reports as required for systems improvement.
Provide support in the optimization of systems for tracking workplan implementation and outcomes across the unit.
Support coordination of integrated surveillance activities across supported states through clearly documented processes and a network of stakeholders.
Serve as liaison for quality improvement and non-health sector activities to GON and other relevant stakeholders.
Lead collaboration with the CQI team at HQ and states to implement best practices for systems optimization using outcomes of SIMS and PSS.
Perform any other duties assigned.
Requirements
University Degree in either Medical sciences, Social sciences, Natural Sciences, Computer science, Business and Management sciences, Statistics or any related field.
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Information Management, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Health Management, Epidemiology or any other related field.
Minimum 8 years experience in M and E, and Quality Improvement and at least 5 years in a reporting position with Local or International NGOs; preferably in HIV Care and treatment
Experience with demonstrable DHIS and DATIM reporting
Good knowledge and understanding of the National PMM tools
Good technical writing skills and compelling presentation development
Ability to analyze big data and support development of information products across thematic areas
Good Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access required;
Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement, SIMS, Cohort Analysis, and change management
Experience with data form design, collection and data entry;
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team;
Ability to analyze and interpret large amount of information;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
