Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary

• A fast-growing supermarket in Lagos, with multiple branches across the state, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced, result-driven, and competent OperationManager to oversee branch operations and drive business performance.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in banking, finance, data analysis, or people management, with the ability to adapt these skills to a structured retail environment. Prior supermarket experience is an added advantage but not a strict requirement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a disciplined and productive work culture.
• Analyze sales, operational, and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
• Prepare and present periodic operational and performance reports to management.
• Implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve efficiency, and enhance overall branch performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly business environment at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in a managerial or leadership role within a structured organization such as banking, retail, FMCG, or similar service-driven environments.
• Candidates with banking experience, strong data analysis capabilities, or proven people-management expertise are highly encouraged to apply.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, monitor performance metrics, and make informed business decisions.
• Proven capacity to manage, motivate, and develop teams to achieve operational and performance targets.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
