Role Description

• The Content Creator – Events is responsible for on-ground coverage of eventsacross Pulse’s platforms, working primarily within the Picks product. This role owns the capture and initial packaging of event content, ensuring Pulse delivers high-quality, timely, and commercially viable coverage across both paid and organic channels.
• This is a hybrid role with a strong field focus, spending most of the time on-site at events rather than in the office. The role requires strong judgment, technical execution, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced live environments.
• The Content Creator – Events plays a critical role in ensuring event coverage meets Pulse’s editorial standards and supports revenue goals by delivering content that partners and clients can confidently pay for, reuse, or license.
• Success in this role is measured by the quality, reliability, and usefulness of event content delivered, and by the role’s contribution to repeat event partnerships and commercial trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover live events on-site, including concerts, launches, festivals, brand activations, and cultural events
• Capture high-quality photo and video content optimised for social platforms
• Deliver content in real time or shortly after events, based on briefs and timelines
• Execute paid event coverage to agreed standards, ensuring partner expectations are met
• Work closely with the Picks team, Design team, and Sales team on event deliverables
• Maintain consistency with Pulse’s visual and editorial standard
• Contribute ideas to improve event coverage formats and execution over time.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating content at live events
• Strong photo and video capture skills (mobile and/or camera-based)
• Solid understanding of social-first storytelling
• Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments
• Reliable, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel when required
• Experience working on paid or branded event coverage is a strong advantage.
