About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Testing Senior Lead to join our Warehouse & Logistics Team as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.

Most technical testing roles: test, document bugs, hand off. You're measured on defects found.
This role: own the entire technical customer experience for M-KOPA phones in Nigeria and Ghana. You don't just identify issues, you conduct root cause analysis, train repair centers, develop RFS (Ready for Sale) configuration processes, and partner with Commercial teams to ensure technical implementations support business goals.
This is a (hybrid/on-site) role, you would be working from our offices in Nigeria office, partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the Commercial Testing Manager.
Your impact
You'll manage phone configuration processes, maintaining firmware and settings that directly shape how first-time users experience smartphones.
You'll conduct technical testing (catching bugs pre-launch) and commercial testing (validating end-to-end customer journeys). When technical issues emerge through Care Centers, you'll diagnose, document, and resolve them; then train teams to prevent recurrence.
This isn't testing in isolation. You'll partner with Retail, Operations, and Commercial teams, ensuring technical excellence translates into seamless experiences. Your training programs will shape how teams handle configurations and repairs across Nigeria and Ghana.

We've grown from 5 million to 7 million customers, building infrastructure to reach 10 million. We're not randomly hiring; we're systematically strengthening foundations that enable millions of first-time smartphone users to have excellent experiences.
This Technical Testing Senior Lead role is part of that deliberate expansion. Every configuration process, firmware update, and customer experience test you conduct gets multiplied across hundreds of thousands of devices.
Must-have Qualifications
Demonstrable expertise with Android OS, including rooting, flashing, and phone configuration
Proven ability to systematically diagnose technical issues and conduct root cause analysis with precision
Established track record training stakeholders on complex technical processes
Bonus: Experience with Samsung KNOX/Softlock or similar phone locking platforms.
