As a Quality Engineer. you'll be responsible for applying quality concepts and technical expertise to maintain the site Quality Management System and facilitate inspection, continuous improvement and risk management to production. It ensures reliable, quality finished goods are delivered to the business customer.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Health, Safety and Environment:
Actively participate in HSE programs as assigned.
Keep work areas of the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times in accordance to with 6S Checklist
Review all associated ORA’s/HRA’s/MOC’s/Work Permits prior to starting work and exercise Stop Work at any time for Safety
Quality:
Adhere to the OFSE People PRIMED Competence Management Program always as well as all other Quality requirements and exercise Stop Work at any time
Authorize a Stop Work and report to your lead/supervisor/manager
Delivery/Production:
Facilitates root cause analysis of detected nonconformities with focus on minimizing variation, adherence to requirements and repeatability collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering.
Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure continual suitability, conformity and effectiveness of the QMS by: o Ensuring the site-specific documents are up-to-date and aligned with the global documents.
Organizing the site Management review.
Tracking and trending QMS data for continual improvement through projects when applicable.
Drives and executes improvement and accountability towards achieving key quality performance indicators goals and metrics
Drives and executes root cause analysis and effective corrective actions towards minimizing defects, scrap, rework and escapes through data analysis
Drives and executes continuous improvement within the plant through data analysis
Liaises across cross-functional teams in order to drive quality into the products
Supports in driving global standardization of processes and inspections facilitating product quality across the PL manufacturing plants
Drives resolution of quality issues in collaboration with Shop Floor, Global MFG MET, ME and Service Delivery Technical department
Set up and maintain inspection and testing plans, QIRs and skip lots in SAP for the plant
Participates in supply chain readiness to provide input into inspection methods, inspection equipment and inspection frequency
Manages projects involving project quality
Participate in internal and external quality audits as Quality SME and material review boards or kaizens.
Collaborates with service quality on tender reviews specific to the product being provided
Ensures customer specific quality requirements are executed by the plant, suing specific Product Quality Plans
Financial:
Identify cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead/supervisor/manager/AMO engineer for review/implementation

Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in related field.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management systems and proven ability in policy and procedure writing.
Have working knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry technical and regulatory framework.
Comprehensive understanding of:
API Spec Q1/Q2
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 29001 (Oil & Gas quality standard)
Baker Hughes QMS processes
Development and implementation of QA/QC plans, ITPs, PQPs, and process maps.
