Job Title: Restaurant Floor Manager

Job Objectives

• This position is responsible for overseeing the daily floor operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, high customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• The Restaurant Floor Manager supervises front-of-house staff, resolves customer concerns, and ensures adherence to restaurant standards and policies

Key Tasks

• Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor staff performance, providing coaching and training to improve service standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns and special requests.
• Maintain a positive dining experience by ensuring fast and efficient service.
• Oversee table assignments, reservations, and wait times to optimize restaurant flow.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Enforce restaurant policies, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor stock levels of front-of-house supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Assist in marketing initiatives, special events, and promotions to boost sales.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives and service goals.
• Ensure staff adhere to dress code, grooming standards, and overall professionalism.
• Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
• Prepare reports on daily sales, customer feedback, and operational issues for management review.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and industry best practices.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
