Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a unique blend of experience across real estate, investment, finance, hospitality and digital commerce.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for translating the group's strategic vision into operational excellence, driving revenue growth, managing capital, and ensuring seamless integration across all business units.
The ideal candidate is expected to be a seasoned executor who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the group’s aggressive business growth targets are met in strict alignment with the management directives and the corporate’s strategic vision.
Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies to drive new business development, sales inflow, and overall profitability across all company interests.
Spearhead the mass adoption of the group subsidiaries Digital Products and Web Apps, coordinating cross-functional strategies to achieve the set active users targets.
Develop and execute robust investment strategies for relevant group subsidiaries to maximize investor returns and ensure sustainable portfolio growth.
Manage all fundraising activities and cultivate strong investor relationships to successfully syndicate capital for large-scale real estate investment projects.
Lead rigorous due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management frameworks to protect investor capital and the company's assets.
Provide overarching leadership for administration, sales, marketing, and project management—ensuring excellence in budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and compliance with all regulatory and industry standards.
Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to all operational staff, fostering a high-performance culture that optimizes efficiency and innovation.
Continuously review, improve, and optimize existing operational policies and procedures to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity group-wide.
Report directly to the top management on all aspects of operational performance, strategic progress, and key performance indicators.
Requirements
A First Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience, with a proven track record in both operational leadership for real estate/construction and strategic management within banking/finance/REIT or e-commerce sectors.
Professional certification is an added advantage
Demonstrable, hands-on experience in liaising with key regulatory bodies across the mentioned industries in Nigeria.
Must be a current resident of Lagos with an extensive professional network in the city’s business and investment circles.
Exceptional flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as demanded by the role’s executive responsibilities.
Candidates must be within the age range of 40 to 50 years.
