We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Customer Manager (RCM)

Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: E-commerce/FCMG.

Summary

• The role is critical in overseeing multiple Area Customer Managers (ACMs) and ensuring high levels of customer retention across larger geographic regions.
• The RCM is responsible for coaching, performance management, and strategic alignment of customer retention efforts.

Prescreening Criteria
Experience in Sales/Customer Management:

• Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including managing a team of Account Managers or Customer Managers.
• Proven track record of managing and improving customer retention in a B2B or SaaS context.

Leadership and Coaching:

• Experience in leading a team of customer-facing employees (preferably ACMs or equivalent).
• Evidence of successful coaching and performance management of team members.
• Ability to develop talent and drive accountability in others.

Customer-Centric Mindset:

• Strong focus on customer retention and relationship-building, particularly in high-stakes or complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems, ensure high customer satisfaction, and drive customer loyalty.

Strategic Thinking:

• Ability to manage large teams and customers across multiple regions.
• Experience in setting and achieving regional goals and aligning teams to those objectives.
• Ability to analyze data and report on team performance and customer retention rates.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, internal teams, and customers.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, product) to drive customer success and performance.

Performance Metrics & Reporting:

• Comfortable working with KPIs and analyzing customer retention and team performance metrics.
• Able to develop reports and present findings to senior management and leadership teams.

Adaptability & Problem Solving:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while ensuring high levels of customer retention.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to address escalated customer issues.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 5 - 7 years experience.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
