We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, staff, and materials in accordance with company policies and traffic regulations.
• The role supports pickup and delivery operations while ensuring vehicle safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation, and always promoting a positive company image.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery:

• Adhere to the weekly work schedule assigned by the Logistics Manager / Head Driver
• Handle pickup and delivery operations, including branch pickups and deliveries, customer pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and documents.

Vehicle Management:

• Maintain a daily vehicle movement logbook.
• Maintain a vehicle maintenance and repair logbook
• Carry out daily basic vehicle checks, including water level, oil level, brakes, lights, and tires
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaned and washed daily
• Report any vehicle faults, maintenance, or repair needs promptly to the Logistics Manager / Head Driver
• Take the vehicle for servicing or repairs when instructed.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure accident-free driving during all delivery operations
• Practice defensive driving and remain alert to potential road hazards
• Drive in a non-offensive, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring passenger comfort
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Ensure all vehicle documentation (licenses, insurance, permits) is valid and available in the vehicle

Professional Conduct & Company Representation:

• Promote and protect the company brand through professional appearance and behaviour
• Maintain respectful conduct at company premises and customer locations
• Adhere to all company policies, processes, and regulations, including Garment Care standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle category
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience (commercial driving preferred)
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and local routes
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
