Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic. experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within the organization who is an Oil and Gas servicing Company.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and understands the dynamics of Engineering, site-based, and corporate workforces.
The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in supporting business growth by building strong teams, ensuring compliance, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning people strategy with organizational objectives across corporate offices, project teams.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for the organization.
Collaborate with Head of Departments and SBUs to forecast manpower requirements.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for all critical roles across the organization
HR Operations & Administration:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook. Ensure culture align with company values and strategic objectives. Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, contracts, and personnel files.
Ensure full compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
Coordinate HR-related audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and management team on workforce planning, organizational structure, retention, and productivity initiatives.
Support change management during company expansion, restructuring, or major project launches.
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture:
Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture across office and site locations.
Manage disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans in line with company policy.
Design and implement employee recognition and engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale.
Promote ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with company code of conduct.
Training & Development:
Identify skills gaps and coordinate training programs for all employees.
Lead onboarding, orientation, safety training coordination, and continuous professional development initiatives.
Develop leadership development and succession planning frameworks to support long-term growth.
Performance Management:
Design and manage annual performance appraisal cycles across all business units.
Support line managers in setting job description, KPIs, Skills required for each job role and performance objectives aligned with project timelines and business goals.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any related field.
A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience in Oil and Gas or related industry.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour laws & regulations.
Prior experience in operation, projects, engineering is strongly preferred.
Proven experience managing project-based staffing and multi-site workforces.
Skills & Competencies:
