Aid Initiative to Support Vulnerable and Ideal People (AISVIP) is a Non-Governmental Organization geared toward empowering vulnerable and less privilege people in the society. The organization history dates back to 2016 when group of people conceived an idea of contributing to humanitarian activities in North East Nigeria. The organization was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 17th July 2018, as a non-political, non-profitable, National-based organization. It is committed to improve the quality of life of most vulnerable and less privileged people, particularly people affected by insurgency in North East Nigeria. Also the organization has been accredited by Borno State Committee on Humanitarian Response (BOSCHR), Office of the Secretary to the State Government, and also recommended by Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA). The Ultimate goal of AISVIP is to empower and inspire vulnerable and less privilege people, to contribute for peace and nation building. Over the years, AISVIP has grown significantly both in terms of its programs and geographical coverage in Borno and Yobe states in partnership with UN Agencies, National and International Organization.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager

Locations: Jere LGA - Borno and Fune LGA - Yobe
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilties
Project Implementation & Coordination:

• Lead overall project implementation in line with approved proposal, budget, workplan, and NHF requirements.
• Coordinate field teams to deliver GBV, child protection, PSS, legal referral, and community-based protection activities.
• Oversee Mobile Community Protection Hubs (MCPHs), community micro-initiatives, and protection outreach activities.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure survivor-centered, ethical, and confidential service delivery aligned with protection principles and PSEAH standards.
• Monitor project progress against indicators, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NHF guidelines, safeguarding policies, and AISVIP operational procedures.

Coordination & Representation:

• Represent AISVIP at LGA-level coordination meetings, Protection Sector, GBV Sub-Sector, and Child Protection AoR forums.
• Maintain effective collaboration with community leaders, government counterparts, and humanitarian partners.

Reporting & Monitoring:

• Prepare timely and high-quality narrative reports, workplans, and activity updates in coordination with the Grants and MEAL teams.
• Support data collection, learning, and adaptive management based on monitoring findings and community feedback.

Team Management & Capacity Building:

• Supervise project staff, provide technical guidance, conduct performance reviews, and support capacity development.
• Promote accountability to affected populations (AAP), community engagement, and inclusive participation.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in Management with 5 - 10 years experience.
