Job Title: Juice Pump Operator & Helper (6000TCD Mill Operation)

Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa

Job Summary

• The Pump Operator & Helper is responsible for assisting in the efficient operation, maintenance, and general upkeep of all mill house equipment, including milling drives, cane preparatory devices, and centrifugal pumps.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• The role supports the fitters and operators in ensuring smooth plant operation, timely maintenance, and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards within the mill house.
• Supporting for identifying mechanical issues, coordinating repairs, maintaining spare parts readiness, and adhering to safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities.
• Assist for the maintaining and monitoring the record of miscarriages and taking corrective actions. Maintains the history cards of the equipment in the sections entrusted and keeps the track of maintenance activities attended.
• Support to Plans & executes the jobs informed by the operation team in the sections entrusted for smooth operation of the plant.
• Shall report to the Head fitter any events of mechanical complications.
• Support to Ensuring the standby equipment availability all time and maintaining the critical spares for the equipment in respective area.
• Assist to Implement and monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
• Synchronize with Mainly process dept. along with Mill /Boiler/ Electrical / process engineers for charming operation.
• Support to Execute Servicing and maintenance of the Mill house equipment during off cop period.
• Accountable for maintaining and ensure the safety in all activities of operation and Maintenance.

 Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Minimum of TT1 / TT2.
• Over 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of milling section equipment in sugar plants, including milling drives, gearboxes, couplings, and centrifugal pumps.
