Position Summary

• Home Bargains Nigeria Limited is seekinga vibrant, creative, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, curating thoughtful gift selections, wrapping items beautifully, arranging products aesthetically, and supporting day-to-day store operations.
• The Sales Associate will serve as the face of the store by delivering excellent service,maintainingappealing displays, and contributing to a welcoming shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support:

• Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, engaging shopping experience.
• Assistcustomers in selecting gifts, décor, kitchenware, kids’ items, and specialty products.
• Provide product knowledge, recommendations, and creative gift ideas.
• Curate thoughtful gift combinations based on occasion and customer preference.
• Wrap gifts neatly and beautifully using wrapping paper.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle customer concerns politely and professionally.
• Alwaysmaintaina positive brand image.

StoreOperations:

• Open and/or close the store according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across displays, shelves, counters, and stock areas.
• Restock merchandise regularly and ensure products are properly tagged and priced.
• Assistwith receiving shipments, unpacking goods, and organizing the stockroom.
• Support general store upkeep and smooth daily operations.

Visual Merchandising:

• Help create attractive, on-brand product displays that align with store themes.
• Refresh merchandising layouts as inventory or seasonal themes change.
• Ensure shelves and display tables are neat, visually appealing, and fully stocked.
• Assistin styling products for in-store presentation and marketing content.

Inventory Management:

• Conduct inventory counts and helpmonitorproduct levels.
• Report low-stock items, fast-moving products, and customer requests to the Supervisor.
• Track new arrivals and supportaccurateinventory documentation.

Teamwork & Communication:

• Work collaboratively with fellow team members and management.
• Communicate customer feedback, issues, or store needs clearly and promptly.
• Support a positive, healthy team environment.

Digital & Instagram Responsibilities:

• Assistwith capturing product photos/videos for Instagram and other digitalplatforms
• Prepare products for content creationcleaning, arranging, and styling items.
• Reply to simple online inquiries or comments whenrequested.
• Notify the marketing team of new arrivals or content opportunities.
• Support online visibility and engagement, resulting in increased sales.

Qualifications

• OND, HND, or a bachelor's degreein a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a gift, décor, or home store.
• Completed customer service training.
• Friendly, positive attitude withstrong communicationskills.
• Ability to curate gifts and wrap items neatly.
• Comfort using a POS system (training provided).
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good merchandising skills.
• Abilityto stand forextended periodsandliftto 30 lbs.
• Mustbecustomer-oriented, professional, and eager to learn.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week(9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• 2 compulsory Sundays per month.

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.
