Autochek Africa is an Automotive Technology development company that builds solutions aimed at enabling and enhancing commerce within the automotive sector. We focus on solutions that improve access to Auto loans, quality maintenance / aftersales services, warranty solutions, and transactional marketplaces. We are operational in West and East Africa and we also have developed a partner-led retail footprint with over 500 service centers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Sales Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 month

Job Summary 

  • In this role you would be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our company's clients or customers.
  • You will act as the primary point of contact between a business and its customers, and are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients or customers.
  • Understanding the needs of clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and generating revenue for the company.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure customer success.
  • Managing and resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Providing regular updates to customers on the status of their accounts and any relevant company news or product updates.
  • Analyzing sales data and creating reports to present to management.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Attending industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products or services.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND Degree
  • Zero to 1 year of sales and business development experience
  • Previous experience in sales or marketing is an added advantage.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Good people management skills.
  • Strong reporting skills.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Proactive, ethical, high energy, hands-on individual with great interpersonal skills.
  • Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail
  • Results-oriented approach to work; willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team.
  • Ability to identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Able to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills .
