Job Title: NYSC Nurse

Location: Keffi, Nasarawa
Duration: Short-term / Contract-based

Role Summary

• We are looking for an NYSC Nurse based in Keffi to support medical operations during a short-term program.
• The Nurse will assist with routine care, first aid, participant monitoring, and general health support in a camp and retreat environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic nursing care to participants and staff.
• Assist the Medical Doctor with treatments, monitoring, and record-keeping.
• Take and record vital signs where necessary.
• Support health screenings and medication administration.
• Maintain hygiene and order in the clinic area.
• Educate participants on basic health practices (hydration, rest, hygiene).
• Monitor participants for signs of illness, fatigue, or distress.
• Ensure medical supplies are organized and replenished.

Requirements

• NYSC Nurse currently serving or recently posted in/around Keffi.
• Valid nursing qualification and NYSC status.
• Basic first-aid and patient-care competence.
• Organized, compassionate, and attentive.
• Comfortable working in a camp or field environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
