Role Overview
Our client is seeking a high-performance Marketing Manager whose primary mandate is qualified lead generation for the Sales team.
This role owns demand creation end-to-end from strategy to execution across LinkedIn, Google Ads, local advertising, digital channels, and TikTok, with a specific mandate to penetrate African markets while scaling globally.
This is not a brand-only role. It is pipeline-driven, metrics-obsessed, and execution-heavy. If leads don’t convert to sales opportunities, the work doesn’t count.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Demand Creation (Primary)
Design and execute high-performance lead generation campaigns across:
LinkedIn (organic + paid)
Google Ads (search, display, retargeting)
Local digital advertising (geo-targeted, regional platforms)
TikTok (organic + paid, B2B and B2G adapted)
Email and landing page funnels
Build and manage lead magnets (whitepapers, guides, webinars, assessments, checklists)
Optimize conversion funnels from click → lead → MQL → SQL
Deliver sales-ready leads consistently to the Sales team
African & Global Market Coverage
Design market-specific strategies for:
Key African regions (West, East, Southern Africa)
Global markets (North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia)
Adapt messaging, channels, and creatives to local buying behaviors
Coordinate regional targeting, language nuances, and cultural relevance
Support market entry and expansion campaigns
Social Media & Content Execution (Non-Negotiable)
Own and ensure consistent, active, and engaging posting across: LinkedIn, TikTok, X / Twitter, Instagram, Facebook (where market-relevant)
Build content calendars aligned with sales priorities
Drive engagement, inbound inquiries, and authority positioning
Monitor performance and optimize content weekly
Paid Media & Performance Marketing
Own paid media strategy, budgets, and ROI
Run A/B testing on ads, creatives, and landing pages
Optimize cost per lead (CPL) and lead quality
Scale what converts; cut what doesn’t fast
Sales Alignment & Pipeline Support
Work directly with Sales to:
Define ICPs and buyer personas
Align campaigns to active deals and target accounts
Ensure fast lead handoff and feedback loops
Track lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline impact
Adjust campaigns based on sales outcomes—not assumptions
Marketing Operations & Analytics
Manage CRM and marketing automation workflows
Ensure accurate lead tracking, scoring, and attribution
Report weekly and monthly on:
Leads generated
MQL → SQL conversion
Cost per lead
Pipeline contribution
Forecast demand and campaign output
Brand & Market Authority (Secondary, Not Primary)
Strengthen VSI Technologies’ presence in:
Technology services
Government and enterprise markets
Cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, managed services
Support event marketing, partnerships, and thought leadership where it drives leads
Requirements
Proven success generating qualified B2B and B2G leads
7-12 years of performance marketing experience.
Deep hands-on expertise with: (LinkedIn marketing,Google Ads, TikTok (organic + paid),Digital and local advertising)
Demonstrated experience marketing across African and global markets
Strong understanding of:
Lead funnels
Conversion optimization
Marketing automation and CRM systems
Highly Preferred:
Experience marketing technology or IT services
Experience supporting sales teams in government and enterprise environments
Ability to build lead magnets and campaigns without heavy agency reliance
Experience scaling campaigns internationally
