We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing Manager 

Location: Ajah, Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand growth, market share, and profitability within the FMCG sector.
  • The role involves managing brand portfolios, overseeing product launches, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with sales, trade marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure successful execution in a highly competitive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Product Management:

  • Develop and implement annual brand plans aligned with business objectives
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch evaluation
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels
  • Lead packaging development and innovation initiatives

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Design and execute ATL, BTL, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Plan and manage promotional calendars in coordination with sales teams
  • Drive consumer engagement through targeted campaigns and activations

Market & Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends, competition, and pricing
  • Use data and insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI
  • Monitor market performance, brand health metrics, and campaign effectiveness

Trade Marketing & Sales Support:

  • Work closely with sales and trade marketing teams to support in-store execution
  • Develop POS materials, merchandising guidelines, and promotional tools
  • Support distributor and retail marketing initiatives

Budget & Performance Management:

  • Prepare and manage marketing budgets
  • Track spending and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Measure KPIs such as market share, brand awareness, and sales growth.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, and external partners
  • Mentor junior marketing staff (if applicable)
  • Present marketing plans and results to senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong experience in brand management and product marketing
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience with digital marketing and consumer engagement platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Commercial mindset with strong understanding of sales dynamics.
