Job Title: Pastry Chef

Job Description

• Prepares and bakes a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
• Creates and develops new dessert menus and seasonal specialties
• Ensures consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all baked products
• Manages inventory, orders ingredients, and maintains proper stock levels
• Supervises and trains junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the pastry kitchen
• Monitors and controls food costs to optimize profitability
• Collaborates with other chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate service and menu planning
• Keeps up-to-date with culinary trends and incorporates innovative techniques
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations in food preparation.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 3 years of experience.
