We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finishing Architect

Location:  Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all architectural finishing works including flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, joinery, fittings, and fixtures
• Ensure finishes are executed in accordance with approved drawings, material specifications, and design intent
• Coordinate with contractors, artisans, interior designers, and suppliers on finishing activities
• Inspect and approve finishing materials, mock-ups, and samples before installation
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, and compliance
• Identify and resolve design or execution issues related to finishing works
• Ensure finishing works meet health, safety, and building regulations
• Prepare snag lists and supervise rectification of defects
• Monitor progress and report on finishing stages to the Project Manager
• Ensure timely completion of finishing works within approved budgets
• Maintain proper documentation including drawings, reports, and site instructions
• Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds.
• Assist in developing and/or coordinating the development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for the project has been obtained.
• Supervise site construction to ensure that it conforms with required standards
• Ensure safety and functionality while minding aesthetics
• Ensure contractors conform with building policies and use adequate materials as required
• Ensure work is delivered within deadlines
• Ensure design aligns with policies and regulations i.e. cross-ventilation law, minimum space requirements, etc.
• Stay updated on new trends, building materials, and advancements in architectural practices.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the MD.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, interior designor other relevant social science.
• Master’s degree in relevant field is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 3years practical work experienceinarchitecture and design,
• Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Professional certification or membership in architectural bodies is an advantage.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision making and strategic thinking skill.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skill and ability to be proactive at all time.
• Ability to multitask and work with little or no supervision.

Preferred Candidates

• Ability to work under pressure and must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to use (Auto-CAD and 3D max).
• Have keen eyes for details and quality finishing of job
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, design trends, and materials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey design concepts and marketing strategies effectively.
• Creative thinker with a flair for design and a strategic approach to marketing.
• Ability to work on multiple projects, balancing both design and marketing responsibilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
