We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Gudu District,  Abuja

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client finance team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
• This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare tax returns, financial audits, and regulatory filings as required.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years working experiences as an accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• CPA or relevant certification is a plus.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 / month
