Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support / Software Developer to join our dynamic team.
This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who enjoys both hands-on IT support and software development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems while also contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications that support business operations.
This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Systems Administration:
Provide first- and second-level technical support to internal users for hardware, software, applications, and network-related issues
Respond to service desk tickets and incidents within agreed SLAs, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to operating systems, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, productivity tools, development environments, and business applications
Monitor system performance, server health, backups, and network connectivity to ensure system availability and reliability
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and authentication systems (e.g., Active Directory or equivalent)
Implement and support IT security measures, including antivirus management, patching, updates, and basic vulnerability prevention
Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and hardware suppliers as required
Provide guidance and basic training to end users on IT systems, tools, and best practices.
Software Development & Technical Implementation:
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications, internal tools, and system integrations based on business requirements
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance, stability, and scalability
Work with databases, APIs, and third-party services to support application functionality and integration needs
Assist with application deployments, version upgrades, release management, and post-deployment support
Conduct unit testing and assist with basic automation testing to ensure software quality
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, management, and end users, to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions
Proactively identify opportunities to improve IT processes, system efficiency, and application performance
Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades, migrations, and technology improvements
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices relevant to IT support and software development
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, documentation, and technical excellence.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, software development, or a related technical role
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, and/or macOS)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, or similar)
Experience with databases, APIs, and web technologies is an advantage
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, system administration, and basic cybersecurity concepts
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
