Job Title: Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time (Remote)

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and proactive Accountant to manage financial records and support the organisation’s accounting and compliance needs.
• The ideal candidate must be disciplined, value-driven, willing to learn, grow, and add value.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
• Handle daily bookkeeping, including recording income and expenses
• Prepare, review, and file tax returns and ensure statutory compliance
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Track cash flow, budgets, and financial transactions
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records
• Support internal controls and financial best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights when required

Requirements

• Must have a strong online presence (very important)
• Minimum of an HND or B.Sc in Accounting.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and tax filing
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Wave, or similar) is an advantage
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Great attitude with the ability to lead oneself
• Willingness to learn, grow, and add value to the organisation
• Must be resident in Abuja.

Remuneration
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly + work phone, internet & monthly data.
