Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Creator to drive our digital presence through compelling visual content, video storytelling, blogging, and social media management.
This role is execution-heavy and results-driven. Candidates must be proficient in graphic design, video editing, blogging, and WordPress, with the ability to manage and grow multiple social media platforms for a premium real estate brand.
Responsibilities
The following are the key responsibilities:
Content Creation (Visual & Written)
Design high-quality graphics, flyers, carousels, banners, and marketing materials
Produce and edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and campaigns
Write engaging blog articles related to real estate, property investment, market insights, and company updates
Ensure all content aligns with BEMD’s brand voice, visual identity, and marketing goals
Blogging & Website Management:
Publish and manage blog content on WordPress
Format posts correctly (headings, images, links, categories, tags)
Perform basic on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, internal linking)
Update website content when required (images, text, banners, landing pages)
Social Media Management:
Manage BEMD’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, etc.)
Develop and maintain a content calendar
Write captions and hashtags tailored to each platform
Monitor messages, comments, and audience engagement
Analyze content performance and recommend improvements
Video & Media Production:
Edit videos with clean transitions, captions, sound, and color correction
Repurpose blog and long-form content into short-form social videos
Maintain a premium, professional real estate aesthetic
Brand & Marketing Support
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on campaigns and launches
Support lead-generation initiatives through content
Stay updated with digital trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements
Education:
Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in:
Mass Communication
Graphic Design
Marketing
Media Studies
Communications or related fields
(Portfolio quality and demonstrated skills are prioritized over formal education.)
Experience:
3-5 years experience in content creation, digital marketing, or media
Proven experience managing WordPress blogs and websites
Experience managing social media pages for brands or businesses
Real estate or lifestyle brand experience is an added advantage
Required Skills:
Graphic Design
Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
Video Editing
Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects
Blogging & Content Writing
Ability to write clear, engaging, and informative blog articles
WordPress Management
Publishing posts, formatting content, basic updates, and SEO
Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
Good visual storytelling and branding sense
Time management and consistency
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
Sunday: Off
Portfolio Submission
Applicants must submit a portfolio that clearly demonstrates competence in the mandatory skills, including:
Graphic design samples (flyers, social media posts, branding visuals)
Video editing samples (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, ads, or edited videos)
Blog articles written by the applicant
WordPress links or screenshots of published posts or managed websites
Applications without relevant portfolio evidence covering these mandatory skills may not be considered.

Ability to commute (THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION)
Strong internet access and reliable work tools
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Understanding of the Nigerian digital and real estate market
Willingness to attend on-site shoots or property inspections when required
Remuneration
Salary: N50,000 - N70,000 / month.
