Role Overview

• We are seeking a proactive Marketing Operations & Front Desk Coordinator to support day-to-day marketing execution and manage front desk and inquiry handling.
• This is a dual-impact role:
• You will help run and monitor marketing activities while also serving as a first point of contact for buyers, sellers, and visitors engaging with Nigeria Markt.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations Focus
Social Media Management:

• Support the management of Nigeria Markt’s social media platforms
• Help schedule posts and monitor engagement (comments, messages, interactions)
• Flag important messages or trends for the marketing team

Email & WhatsApp Broadcasts:

• Assist in executing targeted email campaigns and WhatsApp broadcasts
• Ensure contact lists are updated and messages are sent on schedule
• Monitor delivery and basic engagement metrics

Campaign Monitoring:

• Track the performance of marketing campaigns across platforms
• Help monitor reach, engagement, and response levels
• Support the team in making small adjustments to improve results

Performance Reporting:

• Help compile simple performance reports from dashboards and marketing tools
• Organize campaign data and key metrics for internal review
• Assist in generating insights that help improve future campaigns

Front Desk & Support Responsibilities
Inbound Calls & Walk-ins:

• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, partners, and clients
• Handle incoming calls and walk-in inquiries in a professional and friendly manner

Enquiry Routing:

• Direct inquiries to the appropriate team (marketing, support, onboarding, etc.)
• Ensure messages and requests are properly logged and followed up

Basic Assistance:

• Provide first-level support to buyers and sellers with common questions
  (e.g., how to list items, basic platform guidance, account navigation)

Issue Escalation:

• Identify complex or technical issues and escalate them to the appropriate department
• Follow up when necessary to ensure issues are resolved promptly

Requirements

• Experience in administration, customer service, front desk, or marketing support
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital communication tools
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Friendly, professional, and confident in handling inquiries
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with simple reports, dashboards, or spreadsheets
• Must be based in Benin City and available to work onsite

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting marketing campaigns or digital communications
• Familiarity with email marketing tools or WhatsApp broadcast tools
• Previous experience in a startup, marketplace, or tech-driven environment.
