Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team.
• The Storekeeper will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory and the overall organization of the storage facility. This position requires a committed individual who can handle various aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• The successful Storekeeper will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, tracking stock movements, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. In addition, the Storekeeper will assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the store.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store all incoming inventory and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory movements.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute products and materials to various departments as requested.
• Ensure the storage area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of efficient inventory management procedures and strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize storage space and improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and tools is preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
