Job Summary
As a Content Strategist / Social Media Executive, you will lead the creation and curation of engaging content across platforms for select clients, driving brand awareness, audience engagement and performance.
You’ll plan and execute content strategies, leveraging data to optimise performance and align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop effective content and digital strategies for existing clients and prospects.
Create sharp, memorable, and compelling written pieces that prompt action.
Responsible for managing at least 4 Accounts: 3 Retainer and 1 Project-based account, while also providing support as required across the team/agency.
Collaborate with Videographers and Multimedia Designers to ensure posts are engaging and aligned with client goals.
Optimize content for publication across various social media sites and deliver it for client approval in a timely manner.
Monitor user engagement and feedback on every post and analyze the effects of publications.
Cover events for social media and participate in briefing sessions with clients and other agencies.
Remain abreast of changes to all pertinent social media applications and propose new concepts and approaches for social media management that will align with client goals.
Meet and surpass all client expectations through an excellent display of digital mastery and peerless execution of projects.
Develop innovative solutions for clients with impactful results that will increase client budgets while delivering excellent results.
Explore the potential value of social media sites that are not yet in our repertoire.
Work with the internal teams to understand and deliver client project goals (both short and long-term).
Build quality proposals with unique insights and consumer behaviour to win new business.
Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with the team for new ideas and strategies
Deliver insightful consumer, competitive, and market analyses; and develop strategic plans that galvanise our teams.
Create and develop commercial opportunities with existing clients maximising account and revenue growth. Manage client projects ensuring 100% repeat business on all clients' projects.
Analyse and report on the effects of publications.
Compile third-party and native platform information to build data-driven reports and strategies.
Take responsibility for additional roles and tasks assigned to you by the team/agency.
Participate in team activities.
Complete at least one self-development programme per quarter, including other training requirements.
Maintain a professional code of conduct and adhere to industry regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
A creative storyteller with 3–5 years of copywriting/content and social media experience in a creative, digital, or integrated agency setting.
A strong portfolio of work spanning brand storytelling, social-first campaigns, digital ads, and performance-driven creative.
Ability to concept big ideas and campaign platforms, then adapt them for multiple channels and formats.
Comfort working full-funnel; from awareness-driving concepts to lower-funnel messaging and creative testing frameworks.
Ability to write across tones and formats: emotional brand copy, functional CTAs, video scripts, social captions, headlines, and more.
Curiosity about emerging tools (including AI) and a willingness to explore how they can enhance creative quality, speed, or scalability.
Collaborative spirit, able to work closely with art directors, strategists, etc.
Strong attention to detail, with high standards for both creative execution and editorial quality.
