Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner

Job Summary
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
This role acts as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and translate them into HR strategies and initiatives
Provide expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
Talent Management:
Lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for assigned business units
Develop and implement succession planning and career development programs
Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and improvement plans
Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development initiatives
Employee Relations:
Manage complex employee relations issues including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions in compliance with company policy and labor laws
Promote positive employee relations and foster a culture of engagement and inclusion
Organizational Development:
Lead change management initiatives and organizational restructuring
Facilitate team effectiveness and leadership development programs
Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
Support culture transformation and employee engagement initiatives
HR Operations & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
Partner with HR operations to ensure smooth execution of HR processes
Manage compensation and benefits queries for assigned business units
Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in an HRBP or similar strategic role
Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, ) is required
Skills & Competencies:
Strong business acumen and ability to understand financial and operational metrics
Excellent consulting and influencing skills with all levels of management
Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and change management.
Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and metrics
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities
Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite

Salary
N500,000 - N750,000 / month.
