Mission / Purpose of the Job
The Associate Consultant is responsible for supporting the delivery of Organizational Development and Leadership Development solutions within Ralds & Agate's Performance Improvement Centre (PIC) and The Business School (TBS) units.
The role assists in optimizing organizational effectiveness through people's management structures, performance frameworks, and capacity-building initiatives.
The ideal candidate will contribute to client projects focused on sustainable growth, productivity enhancement, and innovation by partnering with senior team members to provide actionable insights and tailored solutions that align with the firm's commitment to transforming businesses across Africa.
Job Responsibilities
Project Support & Delivery:
Assist in conducting organizational diagnostics, including performance assessments, employee engagement surveys, and process reviews for PIC clients.
Support the design and facilitation of TBS programs, such as leadership workshops, talent development sessions, and capacity-building training.
Contribute to the development of customized solutions for culture enhancement, succession planning, and organizational design.
Research & Analysis:
Perform data collection, market research, and benchmarking to inform consulting recommendations and training content.
Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and materials for client engagements and internal strategy sessions.
Analyze client data to identify performance gaps and propose improvement strategies.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and provide preliminary insights on people's management and leadership challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across PIC, TBS, and other service lines to ensure integrated solution delivery.
Assist in monitoring project progress and evaluating outcomes for continuous improvement.
Knowledge Development & Operational Support:
Contribute to the firm's knowledge of repositories, including case studies, insight pieces, and sector briefs on HR advisory and business performance.
Handle administrative tasks for consulting projects and training programs, such as logistics, coordination, and documentation.
Support internal initiatives to enhance the firm's thought leadership in areas like change management, diversity, and employee engagement.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or related field (relevant certifications in HR or project management are a plus).
2 - 3 years experience in consulting, HR advisory, performance improvement, or training facilitation (exposure to professional services or client-facing roles is preferred).
Demonstrated involvement in organizational development projects or capacity-building initiatives.
Track record of supporting consultative processes from assessment to implementation.
