Job Title: Project Manager (Building Construction)

Location: Onikan, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Building Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate our building construction projects from initiation to completion.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
Other responsibilities which will help achieve this include:

• Develop and implement project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, including contractors and suppliers.
• Resolve all technical issues on site and esclate when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and quality.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality and client requirements.
• Manage project close-out, including final inspections and handovers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction project management.
• Prior experience of atleast 10 years as a site manager.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering building construction projects including 3 high rise buildings.
• Excellent leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Skills:

• Experience in site supervision of construction works.
• Ability to use MS project.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to architecture and construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in architectural design and construction (Auto Cad, Revit, etc).
• Creative design ability
• Ability to travel to construction sites and project locations as needed.
