Job Summary

• The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) will serve as the senior executive responsible for defining and executing the Computer’s technology strategy.
• This role oversees product development, engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and innovation initiatives.
• The CTO will work closely with executive leadership to align technology with business goals, drive digital transformation, and ensure the company remains competitive in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership:

• Define and execute the company’s overall technology vision and roadmap
• Align technical strategy with business objectives and growth plans
• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on technology trends and opportunities.
• Lead innovation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies.

Engineering & Product Development:

• Oversee software development, system architecture, and product engineering.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure products.
• Establish development standards, best practices, and performance metrics.
• Guide product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and optimisation.

Infrastructure & Security:

• Manage IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and internal systems.
• Implement robust cybersecurity policies and ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure system reliability, uptime, and disaster recovery readiness.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering and technical teams.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Participate in recruitment and retention of top technical talent.

Operations & Budget Management

• Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
• Optimise operational efficiency through automation and modern tooling
• Track KPIs to measure technical performance and business impact.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with product, operations, sales, and marketing teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support client engagements and enterprise solution design when required.

Requirements
Education;

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or IT leadership
• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, or similar)
• Strong background in software architecture, cloud platforms, and modern development frameworks.
• Experience scaling technology teams and systems in a growing organisation.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, or enterprise platforms is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
